Openoffice Calc

Apache OpenOffice 4.1.0 released. 29 April 2014: The Apache OpenOffice project announces the official release of version 4.1.0. In the Release Notes you can read about all new features, functions and languages. Don't miss to download the new release and find out yourself. OpenOffice is a more profound programming than Word and is more open. I know, openness for a record composing programming, I know. In any case, OpenOffice takes into account rapidly evolving edges, typeface, size, and so forth, and I think shows improvement over Word, and in a simpler arrangement.

Calc is an easy to understand spreadsheet program that appeals to novice users and professional data miners and number crunchers alike.

Openoffice

  • Create spreadsheets with raw data and use DataPilot technology to cross-tabulate, summarize and convert into meaningful information.
  • Provides features not in Excel — Natural language formulas, Intelligent Sum Button, Scenario Manager and Solver allow for data manipulation and easy-to-understand analysis without having to create multiple data charts.
  • Export spreadsheets to PDF format for easy file sharing.
  • Many features mirror Excel or Lotus 1-2-3 and are familiar to users.
  • Fully compatible with Excel formatting. Supports multiple users by sharing their spreadsheets and easily integrating data; avoids editing conflicts.
