Cisco VPN :: 5505 AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client

We currently have an ASA 5505 Firewall with VPN services configured. The system is running ASA Version 9.0.0 and ADSDM 7.0.2. I installed the 'Cisco AnyConnect Sercure Mobility Client' Version 3.1.01065 on my Windows 7 Ultimate PC. When I try to connect to my VPN service I ge the following message:
Security Warning: Untrusted VPN Server Certificate! AnyConnect cannot verify the VPN server: XXX.XXX.XX.XX
-Certifiate does not match the server name
-Certificate is from an untrusted source.
-Certificate is not identified for this purpose.
Without purchasing a certificate from a 3rd Party vendor, is it possible to register a 'Self' generated Certificate to get rid of this message? If so are there any 'Detailed' (e.g., simplified or not in Cisco-eeze language) instructions on how to setup the Firewall to 'push' the certificate to the VPN client so the message doesn't come up for the user?

Cisco VPN :: 5520 - AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client License?

I need to activate AnyConnect SecureMobility client on an IPAD. I have an ASA with the below feature licenses:

This platform has an ASA 5520 VPN Plus license
As I've understood that I need the ASA-AC-M-5520 license for each IPAD used but they mentioned that we need also the Essential or premium license to be activated on the ASA as well. As shown above, I have the 'VPN Plus license' activated on the firewall.

Cisco VPN :: ASA 5510 / AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Selecting Wrong

Here is the pertinent information first..

The problem is...When I log in, the client does its start-up bit, and then displays a 'This certificate is intended for the following purpose(s):' message. If I decline the certificate, it gives me the error message shown in the image, but I can otherwise continue and establish my VPNs with no problem.
Unfortunately, the certificate it selects has nothing to do with my organization ( in fact, the certificate is for '*.whitepages.com' - see images). To make matters worse, I can not find this referenced certificate anywhere under my user context in Windows.
I have tried removing, rebooting, and re-installing - it does no good.How do I force the client to stop using this incorrect certificate, and to at least use one that belongs to my organization?

Windows clients work fine. When loaced from safari in Mac OS, it also works fine. -- If I browse to the url, like vpn.xxx.com/profilename, I can login and anyconnect will start and connect automatically. Only when run from applications > Cisco > Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client, I will get this failure. Is this a configuration issue?

We are using an ASA 5520, running 8.4(3). We have users running the AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 3.1.02026. I have the AnyConnect connection profile configured to authenticate users using LDAP over SSL. I enabled the password management and am able to get password change prompts to appear in the AnyConnect client. However, new passwords are rejected and changing passwords through that prompt does not work. I'm not sure what the cause of the problem is, since LDAP over SSL is enabled and working, which is required for the password management feature

When I try to connect with webvpn from client on machine 2.5.6005 anyconnect or latest secure mobility client 00495. it gives me certificate error. it doesn’t connect me with IOS web VPN. I can connect via SSL web page. There is bug please upgrade your IOS to latest version.

I recently got my hands on the latest Secure Mobility VPN v3.1.01 client. We are upgrading from the old anyconnect 2.4 client so there are many changes that are catching us by surprise. The biggest issue I have right now is that the new Mobility VPN launches automatically when a user signs into a machine. We would like to disable that automatic connection/launch feature. With the old 2.4 client we simply disabled the AnyConnect Service in Services.msc by default and started it up when a user was ready to connect.

Connection succeeds with all other versions below 3.0.3050. I’m using standalone client on my PC (tried Win7 and XP).I added my server to the trusted sites list on my IE.
When I tried with anyconnect-win-3.0.3050-k9.pkg which was installed on UC520, the client gets installed successfully and connection was established.When I disconnect the session (had an option to keep the client on PC) and tried to connect back, the connection failed after I have accepted the certificate.I don't see any webvpn debugs on the UC520.

I set up an RV042 as a VPN gateway for a client a year ago. It is running firmware 1.3.12.19-tm (Feb 13 2009 13:03:21). I created a new certificate. When I download the client certificate, It comes as a .zip file. One the can not be opened by a zip utlity (windows, Winzip or 7 zip). It looks like I can just rename the file to a .pem file, but I want to make sure that is right. They were getting QuickVPN timeouts, but that looks like it was fixed in 1.3.13.

Today i have a Linux computer as a router and it works fine, but when i change to my RV042 the software VPN stops to work (VPN Direçáo) on the computer. We use this software VPN for the card payments (D-TEF) so i have to get it to work. I opened the same ports as i had in the Linux on the RV042 did not work, i opened all port on the RV042 did not work, i put it in DMZ mode and it did not work, i opened it all to the IP address of the computer that has the program on it. The computer with the VPN software has a fixed IP adress.

Very recently, we had implemented Site-to-Site VPN tunnel between two Linksys RV042 4-port VPN routers. Everybody in our remote site is accessing and sharing the data through this tunnel and it is working fine.

I have a RV042 router setup with Client to gateway VPN access, and am connecting with a W7 PC running QuickVPN. We have many PC's that already have the standard CiscoVPN client on them, is it possible to configure the RV042 to allow these clients to conenct? I'm not sure how to get the Mutual authentication to work, or how to import the PEM certificiate into that client. It seems to allow it to import, but I can never select it.

I'm trying to set up a RV042 to do the following:
1) Block all WAN connections, except for:
2) Allow all port 80 connections, and forward to 10.4.20.60
3) Allow all port 443 connections, and forward to 10.4.20.60
4) Allow port 22 connections from specific IP addresses, and forward to 10.4.20.60
5) After a remote client has connected using Client to Gateway VPN, allow that remote client to access anything on the LAN
I'm able to do #1-4 above, but I can't get #5 to work. Or I can get #5 to work, but can't implement the restrictions I need in #1-4. Attached are some relevant screenshots. I think the problem is that I have Forwarding rules set up that require me to have a firewall rule to Deny All Traffic from WAN1 (unless I'm specifically allowing it). In the Access Rules screenshot, rule #6 is the problem. If I enable it (thereby denying all WAN1 traffic), then VPN clinents can't access anything on the LAN. However if disable this rule, VPN clinents can access anything on the LAN, but the firewall also opens up all outside connections to SSH, since that's set up in the Forwarding rules. I would have thought that once a remote client is connected using client to gateway VPN, then that client is considered to be on the LAN, as far as the firewall is concerned. Thus a firewall rule (like #6) that is specified for WAN1 shouldn't effect remote VPN clients.

Cisco Routers :: RV042 V3 And XBox 360 / Can't Get Open NAT To Work

How to set this new router up correctly in a way that they can get open nat with one Xbox on the network?I have tried to setup the router so that I port forward the following ports:
UDP/TCP | 3074

UDP/TCP | 53
The xbox is setup with a static ip address:
IP | 10.141.167.50
Subnet Mask | 255.255.255.128
Gateway | 10.141.167.1
In addition to simple port forwarding, I setup access rules in the firewall with any source to go to the 10.141.167.50 single ip destination. I have also tried with port forwarding off, but upnp on, and the ports setup specifically in that screen for this xbox. Finally, I disabled the port forwardingin the upnp, as well as the port forwarding screen and simply setup port triggering, while leaving the upnp service enabled. After all of that, the xbox would not get open nat. It doesn't make any sense to me that this doesn't work. I even tried turning off all port forwding and triggering and putting the xbox in as the dmz host. No dice. I'm honestly thinking now that there is a problem in the firmware or something that requires some special workarounds. I'm on the new firmware (i.e. 4.1.0.2) and at the end of my rope.

I am setting up remote access using an RV042 router. Using quickvpn or a client-to gateway vpn and shrewsoft client, I can only access/ping the LAN side of the remote router and one machine on the remote network. The PPTP server and native Windows 7 connection provide access to all machines on the remote network.I have 2 possible reasons for this and would like to find the real reason:
1) The remote RV042 is behind another router, and that router restricts access other than the PPTP traffic.
2) The VPN tunnels other than PPTP only allow access to the remote LAN side of the router and remote machines that have the remote router defined as their gateway in the IP configuration.

I have been successfully able to setup Cisco AnyConnect VPN on ASA 5520 with 8.4 code. I have set it to authenticate against the RADIUS Server (Microsoft Windows 2008 NPS server). I have noticed one thing, on the server under 'Constraints and Authentication Method'. I picked MS-CHAP-v2, but it is considered Less secure authentication methods. I can click on Add and choose other Authentication methods like Smart Card or other Certificate, PEAP, EAP-MSCHAP v2. I picked PEAP but then the VPN does not work.
So first of all does it really matter if I just leave it to MS-CHAP-v2? Because from my understanding is that AnyConnect will authenticate to ASA and then ASA in the backend talks to the RADIUS server so from a security stand point this scenario shouldn't it be sufficient as no un encrypted or less secure information is available to the outside world? Secondly is there any documentation on using PEAP with Cisco AnyConnect?

The organization that I worked for purchased large number of Cisco Secure Services Client Licenses for Windows XP. Now they have plans to move to Windows 7. Reading different discussions, I know that SSC ver 5.1 does not work with Windows 7. My questions are:
1) Will there be a new SSC for Windows 7? Will we be able to configure the pre-package for installation with the new SSC?
2) Can we use the existing SSC ver 5 licenses with the new SSC for Win 7?
